You got that right!
For 95% of the large game hunting done on this planet, the 9.3x57 will do the job perfectly.
The iron sights on these rifles a very good. I have a M46 with a quick detatchable side mounted scope that, while nice, I seem to prefer to use the irons.
Just my opinion, but I have come to prefer hunting with the irons rather than a scope.
