My 9.3x57 shot group centres 1" over the front sight with the 270gr. Speer SRN's running 2,300fps, 286 Norma and 293gr. TUG's at 2,200fps shot to the sights, and 300gr. re-sized Hornady RN's at 2,175fps shot 1" low - about a 3 1/2" circle. Not bad for a rifle built in 1929 All shooting at 100yards. Currently, with the 3 - 9 x32 scope, they all drop into a 2 1/2" circle. Seems to me, my 9.3x62 Mauser does not shoot as consistently with all bullet weights as this Husky 9.3x57 does. |
