Igorrock, The last number I think is a 360 (though there is a gap between the 36 and the 0) which would come out to one turn in 14.17323". I will confirm this later in the day with a patched cleaning rod, marking the number of inches of rod travel to make one rotation. Casper50, I have fixed the link to the reproduction buttplate seller, I think. eagle27, The character highlighting is done by the use of a product called Lacquer Stick, which I purchased from Brownells Gunsmith Supplies. They're sold for this purpose and come in white and black and are useful for markings to stand out in photographs but are easily removed with a bit of solvent. Iowa 303, What do you recommend for the stock? I don't wish to do any sanding and steaming the dents will probably damage the existing finish. Vlad |
