I'm having some work done on my step-down receiver ring .350 Magnum Rigby-Mauser rifle due to a broken extractor and a headspace issue and my gunsmith is having issues with the bolt face, see pictures. My bolt is on the left in the picture with two bolts. He does not think this bolt will feed and extract the rimless cartridge reliably. This rifle was refinished sometime in the past and I'm wondering if the bolt face was modified. Can someone with a similar rifle compare their bolt face with the bolt face in the pictures and let me know if they are the same, or if they are different then what are the differences?
