Not signed by anyone. But I'd guess German also. It has "made expressly for fereday & sons Salibury" on it. (see photo). I'll post some photos of the proofmarks this morning when I get home from work. The whole stock is new. When I bought it, it didn't have a buttplate and the original stock had a lot of really soft wood at the butt. ![]() |
