Thanks for posting pics of the rifle I build in my dreams except mine would have a drop box magazine with an Oberndorf style floorplate instead of the Rigby no 2. I like the H&H pattern front sight and the Recknagle rear sight base with the recoil lug but I prefer the folding leaves to sit flat rather than at an angle. I prefer the original bolt handle shape ( that you normally use) and I would accept a higher mounted scope to avoid the clearanced bolt handle. Can't wait to see the finished product.
How can the peep sight be used with a fixed leaf front sight?
