DORLEAC, That H & H scope mount is a work of art to make it sit so low, is the rear scope base mortised & held with screws?
I guess that means if required the hunter can still reload 5 heavies in a stripper clip (with the scope off) quickly in a pinch.
How does the bolt peep go with the wide "V" rear sight, must be a real compromise on sight picture I guess to have both?
