That thread tells a lot of the story. Nowadays, primarily due to 9.3x57's (Rod's) pressure, Lee manufacturing will make you dies to fit your ctg. reloading press (7/8x14 thread) so you can size down bullets to fit the rifle you desire. For us, it was .375's down to .366" for Rod and .367" for me. I made my own die which worked, while Rod used a 3-die set from Lee. I was just lucky, I guess, with the old Pacific die's dimensions. With the design of the Lee dies, 3 dies will be necessary for a reduction from .375" down to .366". A local fellow, friend of mine, has purchased Lee 3 die sets to reduce .338's down to .300" for his 8x56R and .323's down to .312" for his .303. It really is amazing what you can accomplish given a few random ideas and a modicum of some-what rough skill.(OK- very rough) ![]() |
