I picked up an original stock from a type B that someone had added a ventilated recoil pad and cut a bolt handle relief for , both of which I plan on fixing. I have a spare 7x57 VZ24 barreled action I plan on using.
Question is what type of walnut was used on these stocks and is there a serial number listing anywhere as I have the serial stamped in barrel channel, 79927
