Re: Mauser rifles at auctions

I have a .35 Rem griffin on a kurz SSB that I picked up 10 years ago in the Emil McConnell sale. It has a mannlicher style stock, totally different look from the Kennedy rifle. Would have been nice to have the pair. (greed knows no bounds:))

Speaking of Michael Petrov, I wonder what will happen to his Griffin database? Hopefully it goes to Bob Beech at Griffin for safekeeping. Michael shared photos of some of his rifles with me over the years as he did with many people. The .400 Whelen griffin Springfield is sweet and he had a .22 Lovell that also looked good. I'll feel strange bidding on his rifles but I suppose he would have wanted us to have them.
