redoak,,,my friend malcolm macgregor built that rifle ..i hung with him at the auction yesterday hes from new hampshire and an appraiser for julias auctioneers he does pretty good work ,,hes also been dealing in mauser type rifles since before i met him over 30 years ago ,,he paid 7500$ for the 35 rem, squarebridge griffin that was there ,,the adolph kurz that don mentions sold for 3750$,,im pretty sure lot #220 sold for 6500$ ,,,,,,there are some real nice rifles coming up in the next amoskeag auction ,,a lot of mike petrovs stuff.....paul
