The Mauser came in this week ... and very interesting it is too. It's pretty apparent that it's been worked on over the years. Receiver marks have been ground off, and you can see grinding/polishing marks elsewhere. What was a very pleasant surprise is the Timney trigger I found after taking it apart! There is also bedding material in the barrel channel and under the front part of the receiver. I'd welcome any comments/insights as to parts, etc. I'm very curious as to this rifle's history.
