You mentioned a lack of responses earlier. Old Hermann's rifles are auctioned every now and again, the same ones or perhaps different ones, I forget. Some people get upset from time to time on some forums, but in the end they are just firearms once owned by an infamous person. He was the "hunt-master" of Germany during the NAZI period and during WW1 a fighter ace of the skies. Maybe one of our German friends on NE could give the correct title?

Many of Europe's "infamous" were also hunters and no doubt have firearms once owned by them floating around somewhere, eg the Eastern European Communist dictators.
