A splendid honest hunting rifle.
I've an early German guild(?) Mauser 7x57 rifle, DST's and claw mounted scope.
My father used a Mauser '98 in 8x57 for his primary hunting rifle from the middle 1940's until he passed away in the 1980's.
I've a strong liking with a Mauser action.
