Thank you for the kind replies. I certainly didn't expect it here as the rifle was not built in the classical sense. I had refinish a few stocks over the years and with anything you get better at something the more you do it. The grain is filled 100% and just has a few razor thin coats of finish that dries exceptionally hard (My checkering guy said it continuously was dulling his cutters)
