I think the forend checkered area is a bit longer on the TypeA but I would have to measure to be certain.
I have one unaltered A (10.75) which has flat top checkering and one A (30'06) which has been recut to sharp checkering. Not sure if all As originally had flat checkering or not. Dorleac's 9.3 looks to have flat checkering too.
The 10.75 has a longer forend panel than the 30'06 which resembles the checkering on my TypeG and TypeS Kurz.

As to the checkering above the trigger, the Bs border runs angled down right to the trigger area and the As have a border running up away from the trigger and forward to a point.
My G and S Kurz both have the same grip checkering as the B.
