Igorrock, I am not seeing the horn tip. I think you skipped to another rifle on the photobucket album or something.
Metalwork aside, simply because there are so many variations among the types, the single feature of the TypeA is the rounded horn forend tip.
I would have to look closer to be sure but IIRC the forend checkering on the type A is different than the B which typically is as your gun shows.
Very nice rifle all the same.
