First post here.
Please could you help me with identifying this Mauser. It came out of Zimbabwe (Rhodesia).
Calibre is 8mm. It has no makers name. The serial number on both barrel and action is 622.
It also has crown and crown/N proofs as well as Smtg on it. Next to this, there is something indiscernible. Under the stock it has 7,8mm as well as what looks like 1,2r and 710 as per the pics.
It has a rounded pistol grip (pre-1912?).It also has the number 18736 on the magazine hinge-plate.
I am not sure about the initials, they appear to be P.R.

Any help/information would be appreciated, especially folk like "Kuduae" etc.
