the reason you see allways similarity's with Suhl make guns is part's were made by the same specialist delivered to the gunmaker. the name you find on the gun in the end did notmake anything alone but there was an intensive division of labour. the horn trigger guard was very common on guns for german market up to WW 2. horn will feel not so cold in winter times on the finger like steel so you find it on all sorts of hunting guns. |
