A std. 8mm military box measures 1.080 at rear, 0.870 at the front and is 3.500 long. An .06 box from an FN commercial Husky I have measures 1.100 at rear, 0.890 at the front and is 3.600 long. The width measurements are at the bottom of the box. Good luck.
