The Halger rifle must have gone for near the asking price of $12.7K. I remember when it was listed 2 or 3 years ago and it wasn't on Hallowell's website long.

Speaking of Morris Hallowell, looks like he did some buying at the recent James Julia auction. I don't think he's ever had such a large inventory. He has an S&W triple lock target model listed at $37,450 (not a typo). It came from the Goddard collection at a recent Rock Island auction.
