The way the ultimate price was arrived at struck me as rather peculiar. A bidder with no successful bids to his credit kept pushing the price up, until only one other bidder was active, and then, intentionally or not, successfully outbid the remaining bidder by 5.00 Euros. It makes me wonder if the seller was not employing a shill, who bid one time too often and was left holding the bag. Obviously from the number of exclamation points used in the description, the seller thought very highly of his offering.

Incidentally, I just noticed that the same rifle is again for sale by the same seller http://www.egun.de/market/item.php?id=4533119, and once again a novice bidder is running the price up.
