GWH, I've been looking ever since for a .404 PH - even one in .375H&H to do up.......into you guessed it a .404!
Have ended up with a CZ 550 safari classic in the .404, nice but not a Parker Hale; they were not overly expensive rifles (I can't remember what the PH was now too long ago) - but were absolutely dependable!
Good honest work rifles & the stocks never split or warped, low end for what you may see in here but all "good" walnut!
I have 2, one in 7x57 (M1100) & one in .308 Norma Magnum (M1200)

you're right they were the 1100M model - 24" barrel about 9 1/2 lbs & 4 shot mag.
I have an old PH catalogue here at home.
