Re: Parker Hale 375 H&H

Which Parker Hale model do you have? Makes a difference in value.

I had a play with a PH .404 years ago when I was loaned one. From memory the Parker Hale .404 was a Model 81. Plain stocked rifle, M98 action.

The same was available in .375 H&H Mag and .458 Win Mag. These were more common chamberings.

Is your rifle plain stocked? Monte Carlo? etc.

I don't think the model 1000 was in .375. The Model 1000 was a cheaper rifle and much lesser.

The 1100 was plainer but a Mark X M98 or Santa Barbara action. Some FN actions. The 1200 I think had a plain version, but also a delux Monte Carlo version. Not sure which ones were in .375.

A photo would help.

Is the action a standard length action or magnum? My guess is it would be a standard length.

Barrel length?

Just out of interest, do the mount bases block the express sights or are the express sights still visible? Are they QD mount bases?

Price range, depending on condition, model etc, but around $800 to $1200 I think IMO.
