Mauser African Model in 9.3x62 Caliber. Probably the Most Unique and Seldom Encountered of the
Original Oberndorf Mauser Sporting Rifles. Serial Number 116000 - 1936-37 era. Rifle has seen virtually no use. Metalwork retains 99% of is rich dark blue, even the corners of the octagon barrel show little or no wear. Wood is excellent with most all of the original finish. Very unusual to find a rifle such as this that was obviously intended for intense use to be found in this condition. Certainly a rare collecting opportunity to add this one to any Mauser collection.
