The loading tray would mount on the left of the sight base?

Very interesting especially since the Mauser .22 rifles were quite common and this modified Kurz more or less accomplishes the same goal.
Other than the bolt face being faced off and the extractor modification, there looks to be no other alterations to the action.
What does the firing pin look like? Is the chamber offset to allow the original pin to be used?
