For your interest, an interesting single shot .22lr conversion made by Walther Röll on a 1904 build Original Mauser Kurz action, fitted with a very rare 1923 patent safety.
A provision for a ZF41 scope is machined in the rear (optimistic) sight support and a double set trigger has been fitted to replace the earlier single stage one.
Even if the stock is original and numbered to the rifle, its pattern is different of all the usual K stocks we have encountered.
That rifle function flawlessly and shoots accurately.
