4seventy, I have to make a retraction on my other post!

THE WHITWORTH HAS ONLY "ONE" CROSS BOLT, NOT TWO! I was sitting looking at my open vault door, and happened to be looking at a FN Mauser,which has two cross bolts, instead of one of my Whitworths. The Whitworths have one cross bolt, and a recoil lug 4" forward of the reciever ring, on the bottom of the barrel. This forward lug should be only supported with Glass beding on it's back side, and free floating on the sides, and front!
