Quite a few opinions on this subject! All I know is the rifle comes in a brown leather case marked Mauser blue velvet lined (not felt) The rifle is marked 1898-1998 on top of barrel next to reciever ,it has a 2 stage trigger,original safety and well made but expensive then again I checked the current Mauser website and talked to the Australian importer and a standard magnum mauser would cost about $12900 AUD. I think these are the new SIG ones.
