I know of what you speek.
I have once shott a custom .416 rigby rifle made by Nystrøm og Krabbe (Denmark) That kicked like my .500 Jeffery I was very surprised. did not expect that.
The rifle was about 100,000 rand (90.000kr) very nice to look at. and perfect stock but about a pound too light.
In the big bores weigth and balance is everything.
