US$ 10.000 for a "100 year" Mauser would be robbery! Did they cost that much down in Australia? Are you sure you don't mean 10.000 Fiji Dollars?!?!

I don't know what they went for in 1998.

Like I mentioned, I got away with paying about US$4500...

But then I've been searching abit on older AR posts, and have seen some pictures of the Sigarms series of 100 rifles. They differ a bit here and there: They have a drop mag to hold 1 extra round. The Sig what looks like an ERA trigger, at least a differant one then the original 1898-1998 series where the trigger is more centred in the trigger guard, the Sigs bolt handle isn't blued, as it was on the first 100 year rifles.

The picture below is my rifle, before I changed a few things mentioned on an above post:


Maybe ALF, or another Mauser expert will fill in some gaps with their knowledge?
