its something for kuduae but iirc there was a barrel maker Erich Kelber in suhl around 1930 who made barrels for a lot of gunmaker there like August Schüler.
the "EK" stamp maybe means him.


this is the barrel of my own G.G. -KABA 10,75x57
stamp with 631 is just one year older than your rifle
