Thanks Igorrock, its possible. I did find a 2005 post on Sniper Central that was of interest. The poster refered to a book by Clive M. Law "Without Warning", a book on Canadian Sniper Equipment. Law mentioned that the Canadian Model C3 sniper Rifle, Parker Hale M82, when first issued had 1-14 twist barrels 26" long. Rebuilding was begun in Feb. 1986 and finished in Feb. 1992. The rifles were rebarreled with a 1-12 twist barrel to shoot 168gr. bullets and the optics were changed as well. As I was originally told that this barrel may have been from Parker Hale maybe it was an early Canadian C3 barrel. Thanks Again. |
