Lancaster, Very nice M88 sporter you have there! I can see the the engraving does look very much like that on my rifle. Do you think that my rifle was made for Collath and not by him? I wasn't sure if he made all the guns with his name on them or if he farmed some of the work out. I don't know if you looked at all my pictures, they spread out sideways so you have to scroll over. There is a photo of the bottom of the barrel. I have a few more photos that I didn't post. I agree with you and Buchseman that the octagon to round barrels are the best looking barrels out there. I've always like the M88 sporters also, again yours is very nice. Thanks
