Working on the pictures. I have never been great at the before and after shots. Most of the time I would rather forget what it used to look like. That Lyman sight has some corrosion as well but for the most part I have managed to stone it off without removing the text. It should blue up nicely and at least look better than before. There is a small relief cut in the stock below the sight but surprisingly it is smaller than the cuts found on right mounted peep sights. The barrel is cleaning up well. I'm still trying to figure out how they made it. Everything is integral and it possible that the entire contour (except the rib and the original flats) were cut by hand but I somehow doubt it. All of the horn is in need. The grip cap is a disaster and the butt is delaminating. It should work out alright. I'll post some shots. Tom |
