I have met and made the acquaintece of many fine guns , but I have yet to meet one 'with a soul' or that 'spoke to me' or had any 'magic' associated with it. Some have a 'history' and that history remains WHATEVER is done to it. A crummy looking gun is just that a crummy looking gun no matter who made or used it and every firearm deserves the best face one can put on it especially a nice old well used gun like this. I look forward to seeing how you restore it. I have a fondness for Cogswell & Harrisons as my first double was one of their 450/400's.
