I contact harald wolf because he was the man knowing anything about this rifle and the story would become more interesting again:

the rifle was in the possession of Willy Blomme since the 90s and Willy was changing the butt plate and the german trigger to make it more useful for his needs as an PH. Willy get an rare but very dangerous disease in central africa that making him a physical wreck so the rifle was not coming back to business.

Willy had have a knack for interesting rifles because he bought also the old 577 NE from Hans Otto Meisner in central africa.

now to the question of the original owner of the Jumbo rifle: it was Adrian de Schryver who was poisened in 1989 in the congo. the rifle was pictured in Hatari Times no.5 with the original double set trigger.

Adrian de Schryver was the Conservator of all national parks in the belgisch congo and was staying there after the end of the old times.
