My old .303 Rigby shoots also too high regardless of what bulletweight I use from 174grain military spitzerpoints to 215grain roundnosed. My fixed 50yard leaf shoots is almost perfect for 220yards(200meters) with all bulletweights(Nice!..as Borat would say:LOL.) Sometimes these old guns does not make sence, but yet still very enjoyable to shoot.
Next time going to Africa ILL take the .303Rigby along for some M`pala,Steenbok and Dassie shoot.
