I have an action that was remodeled into a VZ 33 copy. The gent that I bought it from told me that the Mexican 1910s were machined at the Mexican State Arsenal in Mexico City on Pratt and Whitney machinery bought from the USA and under the supervison of German technicians. The quality of the machine work and the heat treat seems to make this credible.
