Hello Folks

I have just purchased (its not yet to hand) a Mauser 98 in 8x60, so the recent thread was of considerable interest.

The rifle is marked "Smits Repeter cal.8X60mm Import 2226" and "8x60D.BUNDEE".

Any provenance that this marking indicates would be appreciated.
