A 200gr. to 210gr. TSX might be fun, if it was available. There or was a 210gr. in .375cal. Trouble with the TSX's is the reduced B.C. compared to the non-grooved slugs. A tossup, really, as the TSX's shoot so well in most rifles, whereas the others were a hit and miss quandry. Some liked them, many didn't. The 225 gr. is it for light weight pointy, for now. 9.3x62 should make 2,700fps to 2,750fps in the short barrel - max load. BC of .320 mv of 2,700fps = +3" @ 100, 0 at 230yds. -6.8 @ 300. minus 14.3@ 350 and minus 24 1/2" at 400. A + 3.5" or 4" height might be better for 100 yards. |
