My M46 in 9.3x57 with factory 23.4" bl. makes 2,175fps with re-sized 300gr. Hornady's and 285 Privi's, Rod.

I just chrono'd the 293gr. TUG's same load at only 2,125fps - slow, for some reason, but usually run 1/2" 3 shot, 100meter groups.

2,175fps should work fine - John Taylor thought so for dangerous African game, softs and solids.

Cup-pointing should work well, I'm sure. Remember what the cupped 300gr. did in your media.

I wonder what a hollow pointed 225gr. or 235gr. cupped, would do?
