Mausers Vs CZ Vs Ruger Vs Model 70 Vs Weatherby for a Big Bore custom rifle.

My guess is that on this site Wby and Ruger will be the first two to be eliminated

So for a big bore of your dreams would you base it on a Mauser, CZ or Model 70. By Mauser I mean starting with a 98 action and not including some of the high end actions like Johansenn and Hartman and Weiss (spelling?)

Do you see the CZ/BRNO as a weak foundation for a high end custom big bore because of its "cheap" nature as a factory rifle.

PS. As a Weatherby person I am strictly a spectator
