I beleive the FN actions aren't as designed 'safe' as ex-mil Mauser 98 designs. Is this correct ?




The H and c rings refer to the inner shoulder that the barrel is torqued against ,on earlier actions they only cut the right side for the extractor ,on later FN actions they cut both sides of the ring to simplify the machining process (read cost savings).
