Re: 280 Express, what is it?

SharpsNitro,

I haven't used the Buffalo Arms Ross cases as yet and haven't read any reports as yet either but given what is there to start with (rimmed case with material to work with) I'd prefer to use them over messing around with the belted .300 magnum (particularly the .300 H&H). The whole idea of "fire forming" the case forward of the belt is not my cup of tea; some turn down the belt but I'll still pass. It's a personal choice thing though. I'll have to review the dimensions of the Buffalo Arms cases and see how they compare to the original specs; maybe they're just the thing for me as well ($64.00 for 20). The idea of rounding up a bunch of Ross owners to get Pete at Quality Cartridge to make a run of say 800 to 1000 sounds inviting to me. The pluses of having factory repros made are they match factory specs and have the correct head stamp. I know, picky picky.

Regards,

Buchseman
