If you pick it up please post pictures either way (Jeffery or Ross). I wouldn't let the Ross brass issue detract from what would be a rare, interesting, and high performance weapon (IMHO). One other thing, if it is a Ross, Hawk Precision Bullets makes a 160 grain with a .030" R nose. A Woodleigh .275 H&H (.287" diameter) can be squeezed down to suit as well.
