Had a look at the Parker Hale aluminium zinc cast ones and they appear fairly ordinary. The ones with the pretend engraving are downright ugly.

So I've decided that I need to stick with a steel one (and lighten it) unless someone knows a better made aluminium brand.

I know my chances of finding a M1909 Argentinian one are next to nill, so what are my options?

The best I could do was find the Interarms Mauser X ones. They look pretty good in the supplied picture but does anyone have any actual experience with one? Is there any other reasonably priced options or is it a case of scouring ebay etc till I find one?
