Noticed a couple Laubscher Mausers on the market - .500 Jeff at Champlins and the 505 at Puglisi - and wondered what info was out there on this smith. I love his style.
My understanding is that Laubscher is South African but have had no luck in looking up specifics on him.
BTW, any idea who the maker of the 505 action is?
I lean toward genuine Mauser but am not sure. There are a couple things that don't look quite correct but I figured the later made (non mauser) magnums were all square bridged or solid left wall or both.
