Listen to Bramble.

One can remove the boltstop with 1.5mm further back, which could give you a little extra. I considered once the .450Rigby because Normas cartridges is 92.5mm oal only.

There is an artical in Gun Digest 1997, of one who does a .416Rigby on a standard length M98 action. Its a good long artical that informs the problems involved.
