I found a little more info on the ZG 47. It was probably introduced in 1947 and stayed in production until the mid 60's when the ZKK models were released. It came standard with a double set trigger but a single stage type with a built-in single set trigger was also available. Choice of calibres included .270, 7x57, 7x64, .30-06, 8x57, 8x64S, 9.3x62, and 10.75x68. In 1964 the best grade was priced at $139.50. From what I remember, Czechoslovakia was not occupied until 1968 so I'm hoping under the free market when the ZG 47 was made, some made it over here (Canada). |
